The volume of industrial production in January-May 2025 amounted to 976,183 million tenge in current prices, which is 14.1% more than in January-May 2024.
The volume of production in the manufacturing industry increased by 16.2%, a decline in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning was noted - by 0.5%, and an increase in water supply, waste collection, processing and disposal, pollution control activities - by 7.2%.
Growth in industrial production is observed in the production of beverages, paper and paper products, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceuticals, and other non-metallic mineral products.In the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air-conditioned air, the volume of industrial products and services rendered amounted to 138.5 billion tenge, or 16.8% of the city's production volume.
The index of physical volume compared to the level of January-October 2019 was 105%. During the reporting period, 2461.2 million kW were generated for the needs of the city. hours of electricity, which compared to the level of January-October 2019 was 100.2%; respectively, 5966.1 thousand. In 2019, the specified acreage of agricultural crops in the city as a whole was 495.1 hectares, which is 1.4% less than in the previous year. The harvested area of cereals (including rice) and legumes was 98.8 hectares, open-ground vegetables-202.3 hectares, potatoes-108.3 hectares. The gross harvest of cereals (including rice) and legumes in weight after refinement decreased by 30.9% compared to the level of 2018 and amounted to 1802 quintals. The gross harvest of potatoes increased by 17.1% and amounted to 16766.6 quintals, vegetables-by 1.3% and 124955.8 quintals. Compared to the level of 2018, the yield of cereals (including rice) and legumes in weight after processing increased by 48.2% and amounted to 18.2 C/ha.
