2000–2002 – Senior and Chief Controller-Auditor at the Department for Budget Procedure Control, Ministry of Finance.
2002–2006 – Referent, Consultant, Chief Expert, and Head of Sector at the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2006–2007 – Director of the Municipal State Enterprise "Zhylu" under the Akimat of Astana City.
2007–2010 – Deputy Director of the Budget Department, Deputy Director of the Financial Department, and Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Science under the Ministry of Education and Science.
