On July 4, 2018, the launch of the Japanese plant for the production of engineering protection systems of Tokyo Rope took place on the territory of the Industrial Zone of Almaty. High-tech Japanese plant, has no analogues in the CIS. The project was implemented as part of the initiative "50 driver development projects of Almaty." The plant was commissioned through Japanese investment. The total cost of the project is 10 million US dollars. Number of jobs - 30. Final product: 300 tons per year of components for security systems and finished products for use in construction.
