The international exhibition "CENTRAL ASIA PLAST WORLD 2026" was held in Almaty
Central Asia Plast World is one of the key industry platforms in Central Asia, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, and experts in the plastics and polymer industry from across the globe. This year, approximately 200 exhibitors from more than 20 countries participated in the exhibition.
Arystanbek Akylbay, Head of the Representative Office of JSC NC Kazakh Invest in Almaty, delivered a presentation at the international exhibition Central Asia Plast World 2026.
The event included a business program on the topic "Development of the Polymer Industry in Kazakhstan: Challenges and Prospects." Representatives of government agencies and industry associations participated in the discussion, including the Ministries of Energy, National Economy, Industry and Construction, Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as the Industrial Development Fund, the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, QazIndustry JSC, and leading companies in the chemical and polymer industries.
Participants discussed key developments in the polymer industry, investment opportunities, environmental aspects, and recycling, as well as industry growth prospects.
During his presentation, Regional Director A. Akylbay presented current government investment support measures, including tax and customs incentives, investment preferences, as well as service tools and post-investment support mechanisms.
He also discussed the company's operations and its "one-stop shop" approach, which provides investor support at all stages—from concluding investment agreements to securing incentives.
